Fence Line and Access Path Reopened on 5-Acre Property
1The Problem
The property owner had over 1,200 feet of fence line buried in years of overgrowth, including Multiflora Rose and mixed saplings. An access path to the back of the property had become completely impassable, cutting off use of nearly 3 acres.
2Our Approach
Empire used satellite imagery to map the fence line and access path before arriving on-site. The mulching head cleared a 12-foot corridor along the fence line and a 10-foot access path through the center of the property. Selective mulching preserved mature hardwoods while eliminating all invasive understory.
Equipment Used
- Kubota SVL75 with Fecon Bullhog mulching head
3The Result
All 1,200+ feet of fence line was exposed and accessible. The access path was fully cleared, reconnecting the property owner to the back 3 acres. Invasive species were eliminated from the corridor and mulch was distributed as ground cover.
Client Outcome
The property owner was able to install new fencing along the restored line and now uses the access path regularly for property maintenance. They estimated the cleared land restored nearly $30,000 in usable property value.
